Years 3 & 4: BSc (Hons) Sport Coaching

Why did you choose the Degree Link Route?

For me, being able to stay within Aberdeen and having the chance to study at RGU with its well renowned industry links it was a no–brainer for me.

What has been the best thing about the experience?

The best thing has been how closely the lecturers at both NEScol and RGU were already connected in terms of delivering the course.

What's the best thing about studying at NESCol?

Living in the city with a family of my own, I was fairly limited to where I could go in terms of further education. The partnerships that NESCol have in terms of industry placements within relevant sectors are really great.

What's the best thing about studying at RGU?

In my experience, the best thing about RGU is the lecturing team. There is such a great balance between the lecturers who have worked within the industry and gained their experiences first hand (who of course also have the academic qualifications), but also lecturers who may be more academically focussed which helps give a really well rounded educational offering at RGU.

Would you recommend Degree Link to other students? Why?

I already have been recommending Degree Link to other students. I have not hesitated in promoting the route into RGU to undertake two (very!) fast years and coming away with a Degree as I have enjoyed every moment of it so far.
