"For me it was a great experience! Both institutions were great and all staff were really helpful!"

Sarah's enthusiasm for art started while in secondary school, but after getting access to a dark room, she realised photography was her passion and that she wanted to make it her career. After completing her degree, she has now started her own business: Fearnlea Photography.

Why did you choose the Degree Link route?

I always knew I wanted to do a 2+2 as I always thought that having an HND would look better for an employer when looking for work in third year.

What's been the best thing about the experience?

I think the best thing was the very creative environment that surrounded us. Everybody was so nice and the atmosphere allowed you to bounce ideas from one another to end up with the best result.

What's the best thing about studying at NESCol?

I really liked it there. I spent a lot of time in the Library, just working on different projects on the computers for hours. Also, we had amazing lecturers. They were grounded, had lots of experience and were very inspiring!

What's the best thing about studying at RGU?

RGU has great facilities. I also loved the location and even though the Campus is very large, I enjoyed walking from building to building. As a photographer, you notice and find inspiration in everything.

Would you recommend Degree Link to other students? Why?

I would. I actually already have recommended it to a few people interested in photography. For me it was a great experience! Both institutions were great and all staff were really helpful.
